Ultrasound diagnostics

Ultrasound scanning is a perfect companion for the physiotherapist as it provides additional information after a detailed assessment has taken place that can help with your management.

Your physio will already have identified a great deal of information from their examination but sometimes further details are needed to guide your treatment. Ultrasound scanning provides immediate results and can assess tissues statically and during movement. It is used to assess the extent of muscle or tendon injuries and, as well as being perfectly safe, it is a fascinating insight into your anatomy and how the body works!
