Shin splints

Shin splints (Medial or Anterior Stress Syndrome) is pain arising from the lining of the shin bone where the calf and shin muscles are attached. Sometimes these muscles can get overloaded (especially in runners) causing irritation of their attachment points on the shin bone. Treatments such as Acupuncture or Kinesio taping can effectively relieve the pain from shin splints.
