Studio Rehab- Everything You Need To Know
Studio Rehab is a personalised rehabilitation programme designed to help you move better, feel stronger, and return to the activities you love with confidence. Delivered as a package of 6 x 30-minute sessions on a 1-1 basis. Studio Rehab takes place in our fully equipped rehabilitation studio under the expert eye of our physiotherapists.
Each programme combines manual ‘hands-on’ treatment and guided exercise – individually tailored to your stage of recovery and goals for rehab. So whether it is getting back to Parkrun, picking up your grandchildren or your glorious return to the padel court, we have the knowledge and skills to ensure a full and comprehensive recovery. Studio Rehab is hands-on, supportive, and focused on long-term results—not just short-term fixes.

Who is it for?
Studio Rehab is for anyone who is
– Recovering from injury
– Persistent pain and would benefit from guided, structured exercise
This includes optimising rehab following a joint injections or ensuring recovery following orthopaedic surgery, for example, a hip or knee replacement. We also work with patients with spinal issues or chronic, ongoing conditions.
In our experience, lots of people are apprehensive about exercise and this is often because they haven’t been given good advice or guidance. We won’t just give you a sheet of exercises to follow! Our expert physiotherapists will stay with you throughout the sessions, ensuring that your rehab is the perfect mix to be appropriate for your stage of recovery but challenging enough to ensure your outcome.
Rehabilitation is about much more than exercises. It focuses on everything that helps you get back to being you—including; advice, manual therapy, functional movement screening, and ongoing support. Rehab sessions are most beneficial for those with longer recovery needs or for those who are unsure about exercising independently and want professional support, we can guide you through the process.
What does a typical session look like?
Each 30-minute session is led by a physiotherapist and tailored specifically to you. Often the studio is buzzing with energy as Mia, Issy and Erin expertly guide you through the sessions. Sessions focus on strength, mobility, control, and confidence using studio-based equipment like kettlebells, resistance bands and the exercise bike. Progressions are adapted session by session as you improve.

At your first session, we’ll ask about your goals (be ready to challenge us on this one!) to ensure each session reflects your hobbies, interests, and functional needs.
Every programme is personalised and adapted to your ability, but always covers the fundamentals:
-Strength
-Balance
-Proprioception
-Return to sport
We have a therapy bed within the studio so that patients who benefit from hands on therapy are able to access all the care they need.
Do I need to have previous exercise experience?
Not at all. Studio Rehab is designed for all levels. Whether you’re new to exercise or returning after a setback, we will guide you every step of the way. Whether that’s playing with the grandkids, getting back into gardening or running a marathon!
I’ve completed studio rehab, whats next?
Once you have completed your six sessions, you will talk through next steps with your physiotherapist. If you are still working towards your goals you may continue with studio rehab. Others may transfer their care to our in house strength and conditioning coach, Adam, or return to exercise themselves. The next steps all depend on your individual pathology, progress and goals. Patients have the opportunity to move forward onto a maintenance programme, particularly those with arthritic joint changes or chronic illness, to prevent re-occurance of symptoms.
