Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a proven method of relieving pain which integrates effectively with physiotherapy treatment.

Acupuncture involves stimulating sensory nerves under the skin and in the muscles which results in the production of natural substances called endorphins which are thought to be responsible for its powerful pain relieving effects. It is effective in the treatment of chronic neck and back pain, headaches, fibromyalgia, muscle tightness and trigger points and chronic fatigue syndrome.
